IRAN, Important, fine and old kachan kork Shah era, circa 1940-1950 Quality silky lambswool velvet on a cotton foundation. Pistachio green field (color of hope) decorated with scrolls of palmettes of flowers and stylized polychrome foliage decorated with a central multicolored floral rosette. Four spandrels with decor reminiscent of the central medallion. Seven borders of which the main one is ruby with interlacing fine stems inlaid with floral bulbs in polychrome.
