BEAUNE, THE PLACE TO BE
As the capital of Burgundy wines, Beaune is the ideal place to sell your cellar. The popularity of the annual Hospices de Beaune wine sale is testament to this. Located in the heart of Burgundy, we reach a discerning clientele of professionals and collectors from all over the world.
A GROWING MARKET
The market for wines and spirits is booming, with spectacular auctions every year.
The great Bordeaux wines are attracting undiminished interest: Pétrus, Château Latour, Château Aussone, Château d'Yquem, Château Cheval Blanc, Lafite Rothschild and Château Margaux are all firm favourites.
Wines from the Rhône Valley such as La Mouline from Maison Guigal or the cuvée Cathelin from Maison Jean-Louis Chave illustrate the exponential growth of Rhône wines, while others confirm the interest in each of our regions, such as La Grange des Pères and Mas de Daumas Gassac in Languedoc, the cuvée Clos Sainte-Hune from Domaine Trimbach in Alsace, Pierre Overnoy's Pupillin in Jura and Le Clos Rougear in Saumur-Champigny.
However, it is undoubtedly Burgundy that boasts the greatest concentration of rare, expensive and now legendary wines: La Romanée-Conti, the wines of Henri Jayer, Domaine Armand Rousseau in Gevrey-Chambertin are names that ring many bells in the ear of Burgundy enthusiasts, as are those of Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier in Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine Liger-Belair in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Morey in Meursault, Domaine Leflaive in Puligny-Montrachet, Jean-François Coche-Dury in Meursault, Domaine Bachelet Ramonet in Chassagne-Montrachet and many others.
Old spirits such as Chartreuse, Rémy Martin Cognac, Bas Armagnac and old whiskies are also sure-fire favourites.
