Originating from the Regenet family, this Lalique collection boasts a particularly rare and moving provenance.
For several decades, François Regenet, his wife Fernande, and their son Marcel worked at the House of Lalique, first in Paris and then in Combs-la-Ville, during the 1930s. Professional documents, pay stubs, workshop records, delivery slips, photographs, and expense ledgers now shed light on the history of this collection.
Kept in the family home in Draveil, some pieces were still stored in boxes in the attic before gradually becoming part of the family’s daily life. Vases, light fixtures, decorative objects, and other Lalique creations have thus been part of family life for several generations.
Beyond the works themselves, this sale tells a true family story intimately linked to Lalique and bears witness to the passing down of a taste for beauty, which over time has become a precious legacy.
A rare collection, distinguished by its authentic provenance and unique family history.
