Pair of planters on gilded bronze pedestals with two side ha - Lot 63
Pair of planters on gilded bronze pedestals with two side handles formed of volutes and acanthus leaves. The front face is adorned with a fragment of Meissen porcelain inserted into the interior and secured by an antique fastening system featuring square metal nuts. The porcelain is decorated in polychrome with a lively scene featuring figures in court attire in a wooded park in front of a palace, set within a multi-lobed medallion framed in gold on a purple background. The porcelain dates from the 18th century, circa 1740; the bronze from the first third of the 19th century. H_14.7 cm D_13.5 cm Expert: Aline JOSSERAND Expert: Aline JOSSERAND
