An exceptional collection dedicated to the world of Cuban cigars

Our auction house is pleased to present a remarkable tobacco-themed auction, featuring several hundred lots dedicated to the golden age of the Cuban cigar. Assembled with passion over many years, this exceptional collection bears witness to the refinement, craftsmanship, and history of Havana’s great cigar manufacturers from the late 19th century through the 1950s.

Connoisseurs will discover prestigious cigar bands, rare “vistas”—true lithographed works of art adorning the boxes—as well as a unique collection of boxes, cabinets, jars, torcedor tools, and promotional items from the most famous houses: Partagás, H. Upmann, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Henry Clay, Bock, Cabañas, Hoyo de Monterrey, La Corona, Fonseca, and many others. Many of these pieces were intended for the British and American markets or created for prominent figures and prestigious institutions.

Several lots are of exceptional rarity, notably official gift sets, items that ceased production after the Cuban Revolution, ceremonial pieces accompanied by their historic export certificates, as well as objects that are now virtually impossible to find.

Through this auction, an entire chapter of Cuba’s economic, artistic, and cultural history is celebrated—far beyond mere tobacco-related accessories.
