An important pedimented double cabinet in carved and molded - Lot 23

An important pedimented double cabinet in carved and molded walnut, opening with four leaves and two drawers in the waistband. It is crowned by a triangular pediment featuring a bird in a niche flanked by two fire-breathing dogs. The front features an upper entablature decorated with a frieze of dogs and eagles, and four flat panels flanked by six twisted columns. The sides are similarly decorated.
