Large rectangular flat desk with mahogany veneer and cardboard cabinet, opening with three drawers in the waistband, including a central elegant one, and two side pulls. The cartonnier opens with two side drawers concealed in the doucine and five leather-covered boxes. It stands on four sheathed feet. Chased and gilded bronze trim: openwork gallery, lingotière, lock escutcheons, set rings and sabots. Gilded leather top. Paris. Louis XVI style. Circa 1880. Fine Faubourg work.
