Jacques BLIN (1920-1995) - Lot 20

Jacques BLIN (1920-1995) Ceramic lamp with plant decoration and shade. Signed under the base. H_ 80 cm Sculptor and ceramist Jacques BLIN left his mark on the French artistic landscape of the XXᵉ century through his exploration of form and texture. His work is distinguished by a constant search for balance between abstraction and figuration, where matter becomes language and expression. BLIN works in ceramics and sculpture with a profoundly human approach: each piece is both sober and poetic, reflecting a keen sense of rhythm, volume and tactile sensitivity. Her creations, often inspired by nature and everyday life, reflect a quest for the essential and a subtle dialogue between tradition and modernity.
