Georges JACOB, after Carved and gilded beechwood flat-back salon furniture comprising a two-seater sofa, two armchairs and two chairs. It is adorned with a rich décor of garlands, rosettes and acanthus foliage. The gendarme-cap-shaped back rests on armrests with palm leaves, while the cavet-shaped supports form cornucopias. The curved front belt rests on tapered legs with twisted flutes and Ionic capitals. Covered in blue velvet edged with piping. Paris.
