A curved, flat desk in violet-wood veneer with contrasting frieze decoration, opening with three drawers in the waistband. The curved top is covered with gilded leather. It stands on four cambered and pinched feet. Chased and gilded bronze trim: molded molding, lock escutcheons and set sabots.
France. Partly 18th century.
