PHILIPPE STARCK (b. 1949) - Une étrangeté sous un mur, creat - Lot 172
PHILIPPE STARCK (b. 1949) - Une étrangeté sous un mur, created in 1988. Sculpture in crystal and glass edited by Daum, signed "Daum Starck" and numbered. With base: H_70 W_40 D_21 cm This work is one of Philippe Starck's rare forays into glass sculpture, in collaboration with Daum crystal. Faithful to the designer's conceptual and poetic universe, Une étrangeté sous un mur plays on the tension between raw material and symbolic form, evoking architecture, the absurd and dreams. Daum, renowned for its excellence in working with pâte de verre and crystal, has precisely rendered the strangeness intended by the artist. Very good condition.
