Infantry officer's saber, model 1882, metal alloy and horn frame, decorated cap assembled in the ferrule, three-pronged hilt on joint arc, double filigree horn spindle. Straight grooved blade, acid engraved in thirds and marked with an 1897 reserve souvenir. Nickel-plated iron scabbard with one strap and symmetrical sting, complete with field leather.
