Light cavalry officer's saber, model 1822, with chased brass frame, oval cap with laurel wreath bead, jointed bow with three detached guard branches linking the plate, curved plate tail marked "MANCEAU A PARIS". Long curved blade with throat marked on the back by the Royal Manufactory of Klingenthal and dated 1823. Iron scabbard marked "MANCEAU A PARIS" with two bracelets and asymmetrical sting.
