Géo Condé (1891-1980) was a versatile artist from Lorraine: painter, ceramist, sculptor and puppeteer. Trained at Nancy's École des Beaux-Arts, he developed a style blending modern and traditional influences. He worked for the Lunéville and Saint-Clément faience manufacturers, and founded a puppet theater. Condé exhibited regularly in Paris and Nancy, and continued to create until his death in 1980, leaving a rich and diverse body of work.
