Jean ROGER (1924 - 2015). White earthenware lamp base decorated with an enamel imitating wood marquetry. Incised signature under the base "Jean Roger Paris" and handwritten signature "Jean Roger - 1980" near the passage of the electric cable. Height of ceramic: 45 cm. Two lampshades are included. Jean Roger was a remarkable artist known for his contributions to the art world, particularly in painting and ceramics. He was active throughout the 20th century, leaving behind a legacy of diverse works of art that are still appreciated today. Jean Roger produced many paintings, including works such as "La Maison au toit rouge", which is an oil on panel signed by the artist.
