Light cavalry officer's saber, year XI model. Brass mounting. Oval cap joined to the hilt. Flat joint bow with two secondary branches. Almond-shaped crosspiece and curved, drop-shaped quillon. Wooden buttstock covered with brass filigree leather. Curved blade with groove and counter-edge, blued, chased and one-third gilded.
