Mounted gunner officer's saber, model 1829. Bronze mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath and flaming pomegranate. Palmette-decorated joint arch integral with the quillon in the drop-shaped extension. Wooden spindle covered with filigree leather. Curved blade by Coulaux frères in Klingenthal. Iron scabbard with two bracelets and suspension rings. Total length 94 cm. France, mid-19th century.
