SEIKHOUR carpet (Caucasus), late 19th century Technical features: Wool velvet on wool foundation. An ivory field decorated with polychrome flowers supports stylized crosses pattés with multicolored vegetal decoration. They are linked by marine hexagons adorned with stylized shapes and animals.
