Mahogany veneered cylinder desk opening with a flap, two side pulls and four drawers. The right-hand drawer forms a safety deposit box. The interior reveals a sliding shelf covered in red leather gilded with petit fer, four drawers and a pigeonhole. Chased ormolu trim: ergo handles with leaves, ribboned escutcheons, triglyphs, openwork lingotière and set sabots. Grey-veined white marble top. Stamped: MAUTER (under the left front crosspiece). Conrad MAUTER (1742-1810). Master in 1777. Paris. Louis XVI period. Dimensions : 107 x 114 cm Minor accidents. Expert : Stéphane Pépe
