Suite of four walnut-wood reverse-back armchairs. The curved armrests are joined with palmettes and the straight supports are topped with fretels. The front flared and curved belt rests on saber feet for the posteriors and sheath feet for the fronts. Fabric cover with white and gray stripes edged with braid. Stamped: PARMANTIERALYON. Nicolas Parmentier (1736-1801). Received master in 1768 (under the rear crossbar of the belt). Directoire period. Dimensions: 90 x 56 x 48 cm. Expert : Stéphane Pépe
