The flat, gendarme-cap-shaped backrests are supported by straight, cuffed armrests with recessed supports. The trapezoidal seat rests on tapered, fluted legs. Covered with green silks embroidered with plant motifs and foliage. France. Louis XVI period. Bench dimensions: H: 99 x 111 x 48 cm. Armchair dimensions: H: 94 x 64 x 49 cm.
