This text by Charles-Joseph Palquois was reprinted several times, sometimes with modifications, notably in "La Haute-Marne, revue champenoise" in 1856 (pp. 367-376 and 379-383), based on the text of the Chronique de Champagne), in 1887 in "Variété" in "Le Spectateur" de Langres (based on the 1841 edition) and in 1903 in a substantially different version, with notes by the original copyist of the manuscript, under the title: "Le siège de La Mothe en Lorraine (1634-1644), Reproduction d'un vieux manuscrit datant de la fin du siège" (The siege of La Mothe in Lorraine (1634-1644), Reproduction of an old manuscript dating from the end of the siege).
