Exceptional KARATCHOFF carpet (Caucasus - Armenia), late 19th century Dimensions : 252 x 112cm. Technical features : Wool velvet and wool backing. Atypical design for this Armenian carpet, where seven double ram trophies (Kotchaks) stand out on an ivory field, linked by small polychrome medallions with cruciform decoration.
