Pair of gondola-back armchairs in maple and rosewood veneer, decorated with acanthus friezes and rosettes. The armrests have smooth shafts and console supports. The front flared belt rests on saber-shaped legs for the posteriors and baluster-shaped legs for the anteriors. Covered in blue velvet edged with braid. Paris. XXIXth century. Circa 1840.
