VÉRAMINE carpet (Iran), Shah period, circa 1965 Dimensions: 320 x 220cm. Technical features: wool velvet on cotton backing. A turquoise field hosts a "Mina Khani" design featuring an old-gold vegetal trellis with ivory flowers and multicolored blossoms. Wide burgundy main border with polychrome corollas, flanked by two turquoise counter-borders with garlands of florets and two ivory counter-borders with rhomboid suites. Homogeneous graphics.
