Curved cylinder sash desk in veneer and composite fillets. It opens on the top with two leaves, a sliding pull-out in the central body, and three drawers in the waistband. The inside of the upper body and cylinder reveal drawers and compartments. The front is decorated with Antique-style flowering vases and a music trophy on butterfly-winged rosewood backgrounds. It stands on an arched base. Bronze trim: keyhole escutcheons, draw knob, drop and sabots. Stamped: F.BAYER François BAYER Cité maître en 1764 Paris. Transitional Louis XV- Louis XVI period.
