Large brown leather-covered chest, embossed with geometric motifs and beautifully decorated with chased and gilded bronzes after André-Charles BOULLE. It opens with a domed lid fitted with leafy hinges, decorated with lions' heads and satyrs. The front features a keyhole decorated with acanthus leaves and a tilting mask of Diana that conceals the keyhole. The sides feature drop handles set on broad palmettes with bearded masks.
