JAPAN, CIRCA 1920 Pair of copper vases with polychrome and glitter champlevé enamels, decorated with alternating coats of arms of a dragon chasing the sacred pearl and a phoenix, beneath a horizontal frieze of blossoming flowers punctuated by lotus flowers and sacred pearls. The base is glazed in a creamy yellow speckled color. H. 25 cm each (One has cracks in the enamel on the base, the other has bumps, cracks in the enamel and resealing on the body).
