Decorated with a succession of medallions formed by sprays of flowers inlaid with crenellated horns of plenty, framing a central medallion with a double golden-yellow shell surmounted by two stylized wreaths in pastel tones. Remarkable frame forming a fine balance with gilded wood and bamboo flowers. Wool velvet on cotton foundation. France, Napoleon III period. Second half of the 19th century. Dimensions : 422 x 199 cm.
