Flat desk in mahogany and speckled mahogany veneer opening with four drawers, two side pulls, the right-hand drawer forming a chest. The top is upholstered in tan leather edged with a gilded vignette. The top is upholstered in havane-colored leather edged with a gilded vignette, and decorated with chased and gilded bronzes: molded mouldings, acanthus leaf frames and twists, set rings and sabots. Paris, Louis XVI period.
