4/4 violin by Claude Augustin Miremont (1827-1887) made in 1879 and bearing his label with the Paris address: rue faubourg poissonnière. It also bears on the back inside a label with the mention "revised by E.Richard, luthier d'art, 20 rue Martainville, Rouen Year 1942". One-piece back in beautiful maple with medium, regular and flamed waves, 355mm. This rare example is made in J.Baptiste Guadagnini model.
