CANOT. Armchair in carved and molded natural wood, back to the queen and curved legs. Louis XV period. Stamped CANOT. S at the bottom of the back. Dimensions : 98 x 73 x 71 cm. Restorations. François Canot (Died October 29, 1786), sculptor from Lyon, born in Paris, is the brother-in-law of Pierre Nogaret. He practiced in Lyon, place Louis-le-Grand, in the middle of the 18th century.
