[ZOOLOGY] HUET (Jean-Baptiste and Nicolas). Collection of Mammals of the Museum of Natural History of Paris; classified according to the method of M. CUVIER, perpetual secretary of the Institute, and professor of comparative anatomy at the Museum of Natural History; drawn after nature by HUET, draftsman of the Museum and professor of drawing for zoology at the Museum of Natural History of Paris, and engraved by J. B. HUET jeune; accompanied by a descriptive text and a table of orders, families, and characters belonging to each of them. Paris, chez Bance aîné, Editeur. 1829. In 4 half-basane, smooth spine, gilt title. 60 p. of text, by families of mammals, followed by 54 plates in colors. Second edition (the first appeared in 1808 with only 45 plates). Binding damage, some foxing to the text pages, engravings preserved and in very good condition.
