Jules Vieillard Bordeaux pour Maison Chanut Paris Service of table in earthenware Terre de Fer enamelled ivory in the double decorations by united blue process "birds" composed of twenty-three large plates and twenty-two small plates of the first decoration, and of fourteen large plates and eleven small plates of the second decoration, of two large soup plates and two small soup plates, a large oval deep dish and a small oval deep dish, two small plates on a pedestal, a vegetable dish on a pedestal, two large circular deep dishes with two decorations, a small tureen with a lid and two handles, a large tureen with a lid and two handles, a sauce boat and a mustard pot with a lid. Marked below "Terre de Fer, Maison Chanut, E.Primard Successeur, 33, 35 rue Tronchet, Paris" and mark of Jules Vieillard Bordeaux "birds" on some. Dimensions large plate: 24 cm, Soup tureen: 24 x 30 cm, large dish: 4 x 30 cm. Late 19th century, Circa 1870-1890.
