René LALIQUE (1860-1945). Vase "Tourbillons", also called "Volutes en relief", model created in 1926. Proof in pressed moulded amber glass (cracked and banged). Signed. Height: 20 cm. Scratches.
History: model appearing in the catalogues of 1928 and 1932 and on the tariff of 1937, continued in 1947 under the n°2003, not taken again after 1951. The design was based on an initial drawing by Suzanne Lalique.
