Some wear and tear to some volumes (corners rubbed, snags to some headpieces, leaves browned, some angular tears to some leaves, without loss of text). A very good copy. Sought-after edition "as much for the beauty of the engravings executed by skilful artists on the drawings of the famous Cochin, as for the maps and plans which are also well executed" (Boucher de la Richarderie, I, p. 93 - Sabin, 65402 - Brunet, IV, 868).
